अरे अब ऐसी कविता लिखो कि जिसमें छंद घूमकर आय घुमड़ता जाय देह में दर्द कहीं पर एक बार ठहराय
कि जिसमें एक प्रतिज्ञा करूं वही दो बार शब्द बन जाय बताऊँ बार-बार वह अर्थ न भाषा अपने को दोहराय
अरे अब ऐसी कविता लिखो कि कोई मूड़ नहीं मटकाय न कोई पुलक-पुलक रह जाय न कोई बेमतलब अकुलाय
छंद से जोड़ो अपना आप कि कवि की व्यथा हृदय सह जाय थामकर हँसना-रोना आज उदासी होनी की कह जाय ।
