मधुर! बादल, और बादल, और बादल आ रहे हैं और संदेशा तुम्हारा बह उठा है, ला रहे हैं।।
गरज में पुस्र्षार्थ उठता, बरस में कस्र्णा उतरती उग उठी हरीतिमा क्षण-क्षण नया श्रृङ्गर करती बूँद-बूँद मचल उठी हैं, कृषक-बाल लुभा रहे हैं।। नेह! संदेशा तुम्हारा बह उठा है, ला रहे हैं।।
तड़ित की तह में समायी मूर्ति दृग झपका उठी है तार-तार कि धार तेरी, बोल जी के गा उठी हैं पंथियों से, पंछियों से नीड़ के स्र्ख जा रहे हैं मधुर! बादल, और बादल, और बादल आ रहे हैं।।
झाड़ियों का झूमना, तस्र्-वल्लरी का लहलहाना द्रवित मिलने के इशारे, सजल छुपने का बहाना। तुम नहीं आये, न आवो, छवि तुम्हारी ला रहे हैं।। मधुर! बादल, और बादल, और बादल छा रहे हैं,
और संदेशा तुम्हारा बह उठा है, ला रहे हैं।।
