चुनना तो वृंत पर से हो सकता था
मगर अब वह वृंत पर नहीं धूल पर है
उठा लो आत्मा का यह फूल धूल पर से
धूल को वृंत की तरह दुख भी नहीं होगा
और चुने जाने का दर्द नहीं होगा फूल को उठा लो
आत्मा का यह फूल जो तूफ़ान के थपेड़े से धूल में गिर गया है!
