Sita and Rama

This evocative image captures a moment of quiet intimacy between the divine couple, Rama and Sita. Their gaze is locked in mutual devotion, representing the eternal union of the soul and the divine. Rama, adorned in royal regalia with a bow slung across his back, embodies the protector, while Sita, with her hands pressed together in a gesture of reverence and love, reflects the depth of her unwavering faith. The soft glow radiating behind Rama serves as a halo, signifying his status as the avatar of Vishnu. Such depictions were instrumental in bringing the epics into the living rooms of countless devotees, fostering a personal, emotional connection to the narratives of the Ramayana.
