मन धन-धाम धरे मोसौं पतित न और हरे। जानत हौ प्रभु अंतरजामी, जे मैं कर्म करे॥ ऐसौं अंध, अधम, अबिबेकी, खोटनि करत खरे। बिषई भजे, बिरक्त न सेए, मन धन-धाम धरे॥ ज्यौं माखी मृगमद-मंडित-तन परिहरि, पूय परे। त्यौं मन मूढ़ बिषय-गुंजा गहि, चिंतामनि बिसरै॥ ऐसे और पतित अवलंबित, ते छिन लाज तरे। सूर पतित तुम पतित-उधारन, बिरद कि लाज धरे॥
