Yogamaya Escaping from Kamsa
In the deep shadows of a prison cell in Mathura, the divine drama of liberation unfolds with breathtaking urgency. The tyrant Kamsa, consumed by dread and arrogance, lunges backward in sheer terror as the celestial goddess Yogamaya slips from his grasp. Bathed in a radiant, heavenly halo, the divine feminine ascends into the night sky, her multi armed form a symbol of cosmic illusion and ultimate truth. Below, Vasudeva and Devaki stand with hands joined in reverent prayer, their faces illuminated by the soft, ethereal glow of grace amidst captivity. Raja Ravi Varma masterfully captures this pivotal mythological threshold, where mortal tyranny shatters against the luminous expanse of the divine.
