Paired Painting

Krishna as Partha Sarathi and Arjuna in Consultation

This profound image captures a quiet, yet monumental moment of intimacy between the Divine and the devotee. Krishna, the Eternal Charioteer, sits within the opulent surroundings of the palace, his complexion the blue of the deep monsoon sky. Before him stands Arjuna, his heart heavy with the weight of the coming conflict, while another figure observes, perhaps awaiting counsel. The scene radiates the deep philosophical tension of the Mahabharata, where the fate of the world hinges upon the guidance offered in these private, human moments of vulnerability and trust. It serves as a visual bridge, inviting the viewer to witness the vulnerability of the warrior and the boundless compassion of the Lord.
