समर भूमि पर मानव शोणित से रंजित निर्भीक चरण धर, अभिनंदित हो दिग घोषित तोपों के गर्जन से प्रलयंकर, शुभागमन नव वर्ष कर रहा, हालाडोला पर चढ़ दुर्धर, वृहद विमानों के पंखो से बरसा कर विष वह्नि निरंतर!
इधर अड़ा साम्राज्यवाद, शत शत विनाश के ले आयोजन, उधर प्रतिक्रिया रुद्ध शक्तियाँ क्रुद्ध दे रहीं युद्ध निमंत्रण! सत्य न्याय के बाने पहने, सत्व लुब्ध लड़ रहे राष्ट्रगण, सिन्धु तरंगों पर क्रय विक्रय स्पर्धा उठ गिर करती नर्तन! धू-धू करती वाष्प शक्ति, विद्युत ध्वनि करती दीर्ण दिगंतर, ध्वंस भ्रंश करते विस्फोटक धनिक सभ्यता के गढ़ जर्जर! तुमुल वर्ग संघर्ष में निहित जनगण का भविष्य लोकोत्तर, इंद्रचाप पुल सा नव वत्सर शोभित प्रलय प्रभ मेघों पर!
आओ हे दुर्धर्ष वर्ष! आओ विनाश के साथ नव सृजन, विंश शताब्दी का महान विज्ञान ज्ञान ले, उत्तर यौवन!
