तपा-तपा कर कंचन कर दे ऐसी आग मुझे दे देना! सारी खुशियाँ ले लो चाहे,तन्मय राग मुझे दे देना!
मेरे सारे खोट दोष सब, लपटें दे दे भस्म बना दो, लिपटी रहे काय से चिर वह, बस ऐसा वैराग्य जगा दो! रमते जोगी-सा मन चाहे भटके द्वार-द्वार बिन टेरे, तरलित निर्मल प्रीत हृदय की बाँट सकूँ ज्यों बहता पानी, जो दो मैं सिर धरूँ किन्तु विचलन के आकुल पल मत देना
सारे सुख सारे सपने अपनी झोली में चाहे रख लो, ऐसी करुणा दो अंतर में रहे न कोई पीर अजानी! सहज भाव स्वीकार करूँ हो निर्विकार हर दान तुम्हारा, शाप-ताप मेरे सिर रख दो ,मुक्त रहे दुख से हर प्राणी! जैसा मैंने पाया उससे बढ़ कर यह संसार दे सकूँ, निभा सकूँ निस्पृह अपना व्रत बस इतनी क्षमता भर देना!
आँसू की बरसात देखना अब तो सहा नहीं जाएगा, दुख से पीड़ित गात देख कर मन को धीर नहीं आएगा! इतनी दो सामर्थ्य व्यथित मन को थोड़ा विश्राम दे सकूँ लाभ -हानि चक्कर पाले बिन मुक्त-मनस् उल्लास दे सकूँ सुख -दुख भेद न व्यापे ऐसी लगन जगा दो अंतर्यामी, और कहीं अवसन्न मनस्थिति डिगा न दे वह बल भर देना!
ऐसी संवेदना समा दो हर मन मन में अनुभव कर लूँ बाँटूँ हँसी जमाने भर को अश्रु इन्हीं नयनों में भर लूँ! हँसती हुई धरा का तल हो जग-जीवन हो चिर सुन्दरतर! हो प्रशान्त निरपेक्ष-भाव से पूरी राह चलूँ मन स्थिर! सिवा तुम्हारे और किसी से क्या माँगूँ मेरे घटवासी , जीवन और मृत्यु की सार्थकता पा सकूँ यही वर देना!
दो वरदान श्रमित हर मुख पर तृप्ति भरा उल्लास छलकता निरउद्विग्न हृदय से ममता, मोह, छोह न्योछावर कर दो! अंतर्यामी, विनती का यह सहज भाव स्वीकार करो तुम उसके बदले चाहे मेरी झोली अनुतापों से भर दो मेरे रोम-रोम में बसनेवाले मेरे चिर-विश्वासी, हर अँधियारा पार कर सकूँ मुझको परम दीप्त स्वर देना!
