गन सारे जुटि रहे आस-पासे, कइस औघड़ को दुलहा बनावे, पूरो संभु को समाज आय ठाड़ो कोऊ जाने न लोक-वेवहारो! घरनी बिन, रहे भूतन को डेरा रीत-भाँत कोऊ जाने ना अबेरा, दौर-भागि करें चीज-वस्त पूरा, सो समेटि रहे भाँग और धतूरा,
बाट देखि रह्यो नांदिया दुआरे लै के डमरू भये संभु असवारे चली भूत-प्रेत की जमात संगे,रूप सब को विरूप, विकल अंगे सारे जग के अनाथ दई-मारे, आय जुटे तबै संभु के दुआरे, होहिं पूरन मनोरथ सुभ-काजे, देइ-देइ के असीस संग लागे .
लहर लहर करे गंग की तरंगा, संभु खुदै झूमि रहे भंग-रंगा, जटा -जूट जड़ी बाल-इन्दु लेखा,धार गजपट विचित्र वेष-भूषा. ताल देई-देई डमरू बजावैं, मुंडमाल देखि जिया थरथरावे, लै बरात संभु आय गे दुआरे, लहराय रहे नाग फन निकारे.
पुर लोग देखि दुलहा बिचित्तर, दौरि-दौरि के सुनावैं सब चलित्तर, नाचें मगन मन भूत- प्रेत सारे, डरि भागे लोग चकित नैन फारे. परिछन के काज कनिया के वर की, सासु आरती लै संग नार घर की , फुंकार नाग, गिरत-परत भागीं, झनझनात गिर्यो थाल अक्षतादि .
रोय नारद को कोसि रही मैना,दाढ़ी-जार विधि, तोहि नाहिं चैना . संग बिटिया लै कूदि परौं गिरि ते, कइस रही साथ उमा अइस वर के एक जोड़ा न जापै एक लुटिया, केहि भाँति रहि पाई मोर बिटिया,! विधि, रूप धारि आये इहि लागे, भाग जागि गा तुम्हार समुझावैं!
जोग धारे संभु अब लौं इकाकी, संजोग बन्यो जइस दीप-बाती जेहि लागि उमा जन्म धरि तपानी, हाथ मांगे आयो महा-वरदानी, आज विश्वनाथ आय द्वार ठाड़ो, जस लेहु आपुनो जनम सँवारो गिरि, कन्या समर्पि देहु बर को, देवि पूरना,संपूरन करो हर को!
