नहिं भावै थांरो देसड़लो जी रंगरूड़ो॥

थांरा देसा में राणा साध नहीं छै, लोग बसे सब कूड़ो। गहणा गांठी राणा हम सब त्यागा, त्याग्यो कररो चूड़ो॥

काजल टीकी हम सब त्याग्या, त्याग्यो है बांधन जूड़ो। मीरा के प्रभु गिरधर नागर बर पायो छै रूड़ो॥

According to enduring historical memory, she survived multiple assassination attempts by her furious in-laws before leaving Mewar entirely. Five centuries later, her voice remains universally alive.
