नयी-नयी कोपलें, नयी कलियों से करती जोरा-जोरी चुप बोलना, खोलना पंखुड़ि, गंध बह उठा चोरी-चोरी।
उस सुदूर झरने पर जाकर हरने के दल पानी पीते निशि की प्रेम-कहानी पीते, शशि की नव-अगवानी पीते।
उस अलमस्त पवन के झोंके ठहर-ठहर कैसे लहाराते मानो अपने पर लिख-लिखकर स्मृति की याद-दिहानी लाते।
बेलों से बेलें हिलमिलकर, झरना लिये बेखर उठी हैं पंथी पंछी दल की टोली, विवश किसी को टेर उठी है।
किरन-किरन सोना बरसाकर किसको भानु बुलाने आया अंधकार पर छाने आया, या प्रकाश पहुँचाने आया।
मेरी उनकी प्रीत पुरानी, पत्र-पत्र पर डोल उठी है ओस बिन्दुओं घोल उठी है, कल-कल स्वर में बोल उठी है।
