हमने हत्या को साँस्कृतिक अनुष्ठान में बदल दिया है कोई नहीं कह सकता इसे सत्ता का दमन सरकारी उत्पीड़न अब कन्धे भी तुम्हारे हैं छातियाँ भी तुम्हारी हम तो सिर्फ़ तुम्हारे नरमेध के पुरोहित हैं

इतिहास गवाह हैं क़त्ल के उत्सव में मंत्रोच्चार करनेवालों को कभी हत्यारा नहीं कहा गया

हम तुम्हें जंगल से भगाएँगे नहीं तुम जहाँ जाओगे वहीं जंगल बस जाएगा

तुम बार-बार विस्थापित होते रहे हो क्यों न इस बार हमेशा-हमेशा के लिए नृजातीय प्रयोगशालाओं में सँस्थापित हो जाओ

तुम्हारे घावों का दर्द जितना तेज़ होगा उतना ही बढ़ेगा तुम्हारा गुस्सा और एक दिन यह तुम्हारी बची-खुची चेतना पर भी छा जाएगा तुम समझ ही नहीं पाओगे यह गुस्सा क्यों है किसके ख़िलाफ़ है

तुम में से कुछ थोड़े-से बच भी गए तो जो तुम्हें देता रहा है माँ के आँचल-सी सुरक्षा और सुकून उस जंगल की ओर झाँकने से भी डरोगे उस पर होगा हमारा अधिकार उसमें बेधड़क घूमेंगे सात समंदर पार के हमारे प्रिय सौदागर कहीं से किसी तीर के सनसनाते हुए आने का कोई ख़तरा नहीं होगा!
