ख़याल कीजिये क्या काम आज मैं ने किया| जब उन्ने दी मुझे गाली सलाम मैं ने किया|
कहा ये सब्र ने दिल से के लो ख़ुदाहाफ़ीज़, के हक़-ए-बंदगी अपना तमाम मैं ने किया|
झिड़क के कहने लगे लब चले बहुत अब तुम, कभी जो भूल के उनसे कलाम मैं ने किया|
हवस ये रह गई साहिब ने पर कभी न कहा, के आज से तुझे "इंशा" ग़ुलाम मैंने किया|
