तडफड़ाती यों- मछेरे लोच पर कुर्बान जाएँ मुटि्‌ठयों में फिसलतीं उद्‌दाम बलखाती अदाएँ

स्वाद उनका जान लें सब साँस भी भरती नहीं है

उछलकर गहराइयों से कश्तियों पर आ गिरी जो मौत के आगोश में खुश हैं सनक तक सिरफिरी जो

जहन्नुम के बगीचे में घास भी चरती नहीं है

खंड-खंड कड़ाहियों में यहाँ जाएँ-वहाँ जाएँ खदबदाती, उबलती हैं सुर्खरू होकर शिराएँ

शोरबे की 'प्लेट' में हैं तनिक उफ़्फ़ करती नहीं हैं
