सुबह-सुबह नील-कमल-ताल पर उतर गए चीलों के झुण्ड ।
अभी-अभी नावों ने खोले थे पाल मगर बह निकली दक्षिणी हवाएँ रह-रह कर भयावना अट्टहास करती हैं खोल रही यक्षिणी जटाएँ
रक्त–माँस–मज्जा की ज्वलन-गन्ध उगल रहे धूमायित ज्वाल भरे कुण्ड ।
हंसों ने पंख खोल लम्बी की गरदनें पंक्तिबद्ध काफ़िले उड़े मानसरोवर-तट पर दीर्घ मौन आ बैठा कलरव के मेले उजड़े
प्रवचन की मुद्रा में श्वेत बकुल आ बैठे मस्तक पर धार कर त्रिपुण्ड ।
