आ चाँदनी भी मेरी तरह जाग रही है पलकों पे सितारों को लिये रात खड़ी है
ये बात कि सूरत के भले दिल के बुरे हों अल्लाह करे झूठ हो बहुतों से सुनी है
वो माथे का मतला हो कि होंठों के दो मिसरे बचपन की ग़ज़ल ही मेरी महबूब रही है
ग़ज़लों ने वहीं ज़ुल्फ़ों के फैला दिये साये जिन राहों पे देखा है बहुत धूप कड़ी है
हम दिल्ली भी हो आये हैं लाहौर भी घूमे ऐ यार मगर तेरी गली तेरी गली है
