इन पथरीले वीरान पहाडों पर ज़िन्दगी थक गई है चढ़ते-चढ़ते ।
क्या इस यात्रा का कोई अंत नहीं हम गिर जाएँगे थक कर यहीं कहीं कोई सहयात्री साथ न आएगा क्या जीवन-भर कुछ हाथ न आएगा
क्या कभी किसी मंज़िल तक पहुँचेंगे या बिछ जाएँगे पथ गढ़ते-गढ़ते।
धुँधुआती हुई दिशाएँ: अंगारे ये खण्डित दर्पण: टूटे इकतारे कहते- इस पथ में हम ही नहीं नए हमसे आगे भी कितने लोग गए
पगचिह्न यहाँ ये किसके अंकित हैं हम हार गए इनको पढ़ते-पढ़ते ।
हमसे किसने कह दिया कि चोटी पर है एक रोशनी का रंगीन नगर क्या सच निकलेगा, उसका यही कथन या निगल जाएगी हमको सिर्फ़ थकन
