लगे जब चोट सीने में हृदय का भान होता है सहे आघात जो हँसकर वही इंसान होता है ।
लगाकर कल्पना के पर उड़ा करते सभी नभ पर शिला से शीश टकराकर मुझे अभिमान होता है ।
सुबह औ' शाम आ-आ कर लगाता काल जब चक्कर धरा दो साँस में क्या है तभी यह ज्ञान होता है ।
विदा की बात सुनकर मैं बहक जाऊँ असंभव है जिसे रहना सदा वह भी कही मेहमान होता है ।
अँधेरा रात-भर जग कर गढ़ा करता नया दिनकर सदा ही नाश के हाथो नया निर्माण होता है ।
