धरती पर धुन्ध गगन में घिर बदरा आए
लगे इन्द्र की पूजा करने नंबर दो के जलसे पाप-बोध से भरी धरा पर बदरा क्यों कर बरसे
कृपा-वृष्टि हो बेक़सूर पर हाँफ रहे चौपाए
हुए दिगंबर पेड़- परिंदे, हैं कोटर में दुबके नंगे पाँव फँसा भुलभुल में छोटा बच्चा सुबके
धुन कजरी की और सुहागिन का टोना फल जाए
सूखा औ' मँहगाई दोनों मिलते बांध मुरैठे दबे माल को बनिक निकाले दुगना-तिगुना ऐंठे
डूबें जल में खेत, हरित हों खुरपी काम कमाए
