कौन सीरत पे ध्यान देता है आईना जब बयान देता है

मेरा किरदार इस ज़माने में बारहा इम्तिहान देता है

पंख अपनी ज़गह पे वाजिब है हौसला भी उड़ान देता है

जितने मगरूर हुए जाते हैं मौला उतनी ढलान देता है

बीती बातों को भुलाकर के वो आज फिर से जुबान देता है

तेरे बदले में किस तरह ले लूँ वो तो सारा जहान देता है!
