तीस तक मध्यच्छद मोटा हो जाता है आपको दिलाता हुआ याद उन शिशुओं की जिनको आकार दे ही नहीं पायीं आप!

'सतोरी' टाली हुई योजना है! तीस तक सुबह-सुबह बाथरूम जाते हुए आने ही लगती है आपको बास मौत की! आपको पता होता है- थोड़ा -सा इंतजार और- सब के सब बह जाएगें घूर्णावर्तों में- सुगंधकातर, छालीदार,प्रेमिल खुसुर-फ़ुसुर, कल रात की आत्मीय अतर, अल्स्सुबह का वह विश्वास सरल!

तीस तक संकल्प लेती हैं आप कि आप रेक्जाविक एयर पोर्ट की ड्यूटी फ़्री दूकान में नहीं करेंगी खरीदारी। फ़िल्म-इतिहास का कोर्स स्थगित करती हैं अगले जनम तक। पिघले हुए गुड़ के लिए आयोजित कामना फ़िर से लगी है जोर मारने- यह भी आता है ध्यान में!

तीस तक मित्रों और प्रेमियों और स्कूलशिक्षकों के विश्वासघात पर थोड़ा-सा मुस्का देती हैं आप! चालीस तक शायद सबको ही कर देगीं आप माफ़!

तीस तक आप जान लेती हैं कि आप चाहती हैं चलना खमीरित सपनों के ध्वस्त साम्राज्यों से दूर -खूब प्रशस्त, मानचित्रों के बाहर के भूखन्डों तक जहां कि कदम एक -एक हो कोई साहसिक-सी यात्रा और हर कदम अगला लंगर!

Dr. Anamika made historic strides in contemporary literature by becoming the very first female poet to win the Sahitya Akademi Award for Hindi poetry in the entire sixty five year history of the prize. Born in 1961 in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, she has spent decades carving out a fiercely intelligent and deeply empathetic space for women in Indian letters. Through acclaimed collections like Tokri Mein Digant, for which she won her monumental award in 2020, she examines the complex architecture of patriarchy, domestic labor, and female identity. She does not write with loud slogans. Instead, she explores the female experience through the quiet, profound realities of everyday survival, using conversational language to unearth deep philosophical truths. Beyond her poetry, she is a respected academic, novelist, and translator who bridges the gap between Hindi and English literary traditions. Anamika stands as a living icon of feminist literature, giving a permanent voice to the silenced generations of women who came before her.
