बजाहिर खूब सोना चाहता हूँ हक़ीक़त है कि रोना चाहता हूँ

अश्क़ आँखों को नम करते नहीं अब जख़्म यादों से धोना चाहता हूँ

वक़्त बिखरा गया जिन मोतियों को उन्हे फिर से पिरोना चाहता हूँ

कभी अपने ही दिल की रहगुजर में कोई खाली सा कोना चाहता हूँ

नई शुरूआत करने के लिये फिर कुछ नये बीज बोना चाहता हूँ।

गये जो आत्मविस्मृति की डगर पर उन्ही में एक होना चाहता हूँ।

भेद प्रायः सभी के खुल चुके हैं मैं जिन रिश्तों को ढोना चाहता हूँ

नये हों रास्ते मंजिल नई हो मैं इक सपना सलोना चाहता हूँ।

’अमित’ अभिव्यक्ति की प्यासी जड़ो को निज अनुभव से भिगोना चाहता हूँ।
